Butterfly

Ink on acid-free recycled paper In the beginning there was SMASHED! Smashed was born from a need to move and remove personal art from the walls. I produced a small series of butterfly parts, creatures and figurative pieces. A recent commission inspired a larger body of series ranging from bits of winged and tiny creatures smashed to great exposure to animal heads including horses, to skeletal anatomy and the spiritually symbolic. Smashed works are as exciting to create as are reactions from those who interpret them. Send me your interpretation via the CONTACT page and I may post your comments on SMASHED! or other works.
